John Frederick Goldsworthy

John Frederick was born 31 January 1829, in Marylebone, London to John Goldsworthy and Mary (DENNIS).  John was a baker, born in Sidbury, Devon about 1800.

Henrietta Bowcher

Henrietta was born about 1833 in Middlesex, daughter of James and Charlotte BOWCHER. (See the Bowcher page for more information).

Marriage

John Frederick and Henrietta were married 22 Sept 1851 in the Trinity District Church St Marys Newington, Lambeth in the County of Surrey. There is a suggestion that this was an arranged marriage. Henrietta was living with her cousin as her parents had died a few years earlier.
