Back to Adelaide
Introduction
Our time on Kangaroo Island was over, so after an early breakfast we drove back across the eastern part of the island to meet the early morning ferry back to the mainland.
Again we had been warned about driving in the early dawn - the boucny critters might be all over the road. But they weren't so we arrived safely back at Penneshaw. The ferry was crowded,
especially for a Saturday morning. The weater forecast was for high winds and heavy seas later in the day, so all ferry sailings after our one had already been cancelled.

The bus took us back to Adelaide, arriving about 1230. We then walked to our hotel (the Ibis on Grenfell St), unpacked our bags then walked to the South Australia State Library to
start our investigations into family history files.
