John Wylie and Catherine (Kate) had six children, although there is some confusion: it appears Janet was recorded as Jennie on some occasions:
Janet | 12 Jan 1884 | |
Agnes | 1 Nov 1885 | |
Rachel G. | 1890 | |
Mary G. | 1891 | |
William | 1895 | |
Catherine | 1895 |
Jennie EADIE does not appear in the birth records, although it is possible for her to have been born in late 1884/early 1885.

In 1891 Kate with her three daughters was living at 141 Paisley Rd. John was absent, possibly at sea. in 1901 Kate was living at Manse Rd Dunoon, John was again absent.

Catherine remained in Dunoon. In 1911 she was a boarding house proprietor. She had children William and Catherine G. with her. The other
people listed on the census are I think, visitors/boarders.
Catherine EADIE/GILMOUR died in Dunoon on 16 May 1940, aged 78. The informant was her granddaughter Jean GIBSON.

Jane EADIE: Jane was born 27 February 1864 in Tradeston, Glasgow. She can be found in the census through to 1891, but after her father died in 1900 she disappears. There is a death in 1949 for a Jane EADIE but this was the daughter of John and Margaret Eadie of Falkirk.
Williamina EADIE: Born 27 January 1862 in Tradeston, Glasgow. Her name caused confusion as she was recorded later as Wilhelmina and sometimes Wilhelmine (her death record indicates she changed her name to this version). She did not marry. In the 1938 electoral roll, she was living with her sister Agnes and their niece Rachel Gilmour EADIE at 24 Camphill Ave, Pollok, Glasgow. Wilhelmine died at this address on 6 April 1939. The informant was her niece Rachel.
