Polar Bear Hunt 2015 - Day 25

Cologne to London by Eurostar

An early start to catch the 6.45am train from Cologne to Brussels and then the Eurostar to London. We had a few hours in London so we took the Underground to Covent Garden and looked around all the shops.

St Pancras and Covent Garden

We had been to St Pancras before, but this time we walked around the station and looked at the shops - especially book and baby clothing shops. The we walked across the road to the nearby Premier Inn to drop our bags, before heading down to Covent Garden.

John Betjeman - one time Poet Laureate in the entrance to St Pancras Station.	We walked along The Strand - passing the Savoy...	and its unusual topiary.
Then on to Covent Garden		Well, it was a very warm afternoon.
