Traversing the Northwest Passage 1 - 27 September 2025
4 September 2025: Day 4
Victoria to Seattle
Introduction
From Victoria we next planned to take the fast ferry - The "Clipper" - to Seattle. This would entail us needing to get through US Immigration, but
this was done before getting on the ferry in Victoria. And it proved to be a non-issue. The ferry departed at 1400 so we had the morning in Victoria. We stored our luggage
at the hotel and walked around the old part of the town, including the Legislative Assembly. We tried the Museum but it was closed due to industrial action by public servants.
The Clipper
The Clipper is a twin-hull fast ferry that takes about 3 hours to traverse the strait and then up Puget Sound to Seattle.
