Perth August & December 2018 - Day 4

By road: Jenolan Caves to Sydney

Introduction

We had a great meal at the Caves Hotel at Jenolan Caves and a good night's sleep. The buffet breakfast was good and set us up for the day. We then toured the Temple of Baal Cave before driving north, through the Blue Mountains and back to Sydney.

There is a cave pearl in the centre of that pool.

From the Jenolan Caves we drove over the Blue Mountains and down to Sydney. We dropped the rental car back at the airport and took the train into the city. Our hotel was close to Central Station (So that we could easily walk there for the Indian Pacific train). But we were soon advised that the train had been cancelled, forcing us to change or plans. We decided to fly to Perth and continue with our planned tour of Western Australia.
