Crete Pilgrimage 2016 - Day 36

Wales - Tenby to Porthmadog

Introduction

From Tenby we headed west across country to Pembroke Castle, then north to Fishguard on the north coast, through Aberystwyth and we eventually arrived at Porthmadog. Why here? You will have to go to the next day to find out!

There is a lovely old hotel in the middle of Porthmadog, the Royal Sportsman Hotel but they would only accept a minimum of two nights over weekends. So we ended up at the cheap, no frills hotel in town, the Travel Inn. The bed was fine but definitely no other frills, not even breakfast. As a compromise, we went to the Royal Sportsman for dinner. We had a great meal, were well looked after and would definitely go back again.
