Britain 2011 - Day 24

Introduction

After our day in Whitby we drove south, through Hull, over the Humber Bridge and on towards Kings Lynn. We then had a choice of the inland road to Cromer, or going around the coast, We had made good time on the road, so we chose the coastal route - well that was a mistake. It proved to be one of the worst roads in Britain. Narrow, winding and pot-holed. Eventually we reached Sheringham near Cromer and turned inland to the hotel named Roman Camp Inn. By this time the weather had cleared into a lovely warm sunny afternoon, so after signing into the hotel we sat outside in the sun enjoying a local beer and some cider.
